Remove barriers to receiving updates and information about council activities.

Remove barriers to resolving your issues and answering your questions.

Remove barriers to volunteering with the city.

Remove barriers that prevent representation of you.

Remove barriers that prevent important issues from being resolved.

Act as the people's representative, make sure the people have input on issues before they are voted on, provide leadership and vision.

Ensure that our processes are not prohibitive to establishing new business.

Accountability and Transparency

All decisions will be made based on citizen driven vision, identity, mission, and goals within the scope of our charter.

Budget -- It should be easy to follow your tax dollars. Accountability reporting made available to you on bonds, debt repayment, and other government maintenance and operations.

Executive Session -- should list all issues that will be discussed in that particular session. The issues must be ones that the law requires to be discussed away from the public. All other issues should be available to public.

Everyone will be heard and their problems, issues, or concerns will be acknowledged, addressed, and brought to conclusion.

Provide ample information and notification to encourage community participation.

Provide new channels of communication with the community.
